BioPostgres is a collection of modules that extend PostgreSQL for Computational Biology. Each extension implements new datatypes with query operators and other tools, providing powerful large-scale query and analysis.
The BioPostgresproject is a PostgreSQL Community project that is a part of the pgFoundry.
